Oh... what a long day. Yesterday in the afternoon Nachita noticed I had some allergic reaction on the neck... Long story short, today my body looks as if I had chickenpox!! (???).
They didn't know what to relate it to. Prof. Ho said it must be one of the IV medicines, Dr. Christoph Harter (which I forgot to tell you that he's my doctor, the one that reimplanted my stem cells, the one that keeps me updated... and the one I can laugh with), he said it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotics... Well, these are some pictures of my degrading situation (I always laugh with the nurses and say I completely lost my dignity :o)

Well, my dear Dr. Harter announced that he expects that the engraftment will be on Wednesday yippee!!!!! and that I MIGHT be out of the hospital this Friday... Today I didn't receive any IV nutrition and as for liquids, only half of them. So since I am very obedient, I forced myself to eat and drink, and believe me, it's not an easy task.
Later Tamara, the physiotherapist was here and brought a kind of bycicle, which I used for 15 minutes. Not bad, ah?
After almost 20 days, I called my mom and it was soooooooooooooooo good.. My throat gets very dry when I speak, but words can not express the way I felt after talking to her....
I was such in a good mood that Nachita and I found in the Internet a site where you upload a photo and try different types of wigs... How we laughed!!!:o)
What do you think about this ones?
The nightmare of getting rid of MS seems to be in its final stage. So... goodbye MonSter!!!! raus!!! hajutza!!!!...

Anda, también tuve reacción, pero lo achaqué al detergente con que lavan la ropa de hospital ya que tengo piel atópica y soy alérgica a muchos químicos y tuvieron que llevarme pijamas de casa (tengo también mi propio jabón de ducha y me hidrato la piel solamente con vaselina líquida).

Mi opinión sobre las pelucas: no me la puse nunca, sólo pañuelo durante dos o tres meses, como los que te pusiste tú al principi. Ahora ya tengo bastante pelo, es más, ya tenía que haber ido a la peluquería para darle forma (tengo mucho y rizado).
¡Te encuentro muy risueña en las fotos y muy guapa, esa -y no otra- es la actitud, Karina!
Lo de risueña por que ya te vas sintiendo mejor y por que hablaste con tu mami; lo de guapa por que lo eres.

Mi linda se que todo lo acontecido en estos ultimos dias semanas..no fue un facil pasar, pero ahora ya estas en la cuenta regresiva y con la ayuda de Hashem y el equipo medico...ya estas de otro lado del tunel y ya se te divisa desde la salida!!
Como estoy del otro lado del charco no coinciden nuestros horarios..pero igual estamos al tanto y junto a Uds. siempre mandando buenas energias y con nuestro corazon...

Karinita, tus palabras son siempre muy conmovedoras cuando las leo. Me da mucho gusto saber que todo va bien a pesar de la erupción cutánea.
